WHAT IS SPORT PSYCHOLOGY AND HOW CAN IT HELP ME?

Sport psychology is the study of how psychological factors affect athletic performance and the well-being of athletes. It can help athletes improve focus, manage stress, and enhance their overall performance.

IS SPORT PSYCHOLOGY JUST FOR ELITE ATHLETES?

Sport psychology can benefit athletes of all skill levels and can be used to improve performance in any sport.

IS SPORT PSYCHOLOGY ONLY FOR ATHLETES WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES?

While sport psychology can address mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, it can also be used to improve performance and overall well-being.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN A SPORT PSYCHOLOGY SESSION?

It depends on the individual needs of the athlete and the specific goals of the session, but it could include discussing performance goals, learning mental skills, and addressing any psychological concerns that may be impacting performance.

ARE YOU CMPC CERTIFIED?

No, but I am working towards it!

IS THIS LIKE PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS?

I will not be yelling at you as you do footwork ladders, run sprints or lift weights. But we will work together on strengthening your most important muscle of them all.

WHAT TYPES OF MENTAL SKILLS CAN YOU TEACH?

All of them with enough time and practice!

WHAT SPORTS DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH?

Soccer, volleyball, football, golf, ultimate frisbee, basketball, tennis, cross country.

HOW DO YOU TAKE PAYMENTS?

Payments can be made easily from your phone, laptop, computer or any mobile device. We accept almost all card types and Apple Pay. For any clients who are local to Savannah, we can take cash and check as well.
